Riverfront Townhouse

Background: Client purchased new townhouse on Wilmington Riverfront. 

Objective: To assist with paint/wallcovering and window treatments, as well as design built-in unit in Study. 

Client interview: Client’s wanted elegant finishes to coordinate with existing furnishings. In the Study- the client wanted to reflect a “country club” look. 

Details: Designers reviewed swatches of existing furniture to select window treatments and wallcovering. We met with a faux finish artist to determine paint technique and colors in Master Bathroom and Kitchen. For the unusually shaped and hard to reach windows in the Master Bedroom, motorized privacy window treatments were added. For the rest of the home, window treatments were added that give the ultimate in light, view and privacy control. 

Result: An elegant background on the walls to compliment the clients tastes and existing pieces, and window treatments that do not obstruct the view that they fell in love with, but will still afford privacy and light filtering when needed.
